Definition
1. Progressive Possibility or Prediction = When any action or event will start in the future and it will continue in a form of progress, we call it Future Continuous. We predict or express possibility in form of progress that starts in the future. In another way, progress will start in the future.
Suppose, I will go to a party next day and I now make a sentence that “I will be going to the party next day.”
It means = The progress will start from the next day and it will continue after that for a specified or unspecified time.
e.g. –
- He will be hanging around for the next 10 days. (The enjoyment will start from the next day and will continue till 10 days.)
- I will/shall be playing a game from next month. (The game will start to play from the next month and will continue further.)
- Will you be driving for them? (The driving will start in the future and will continue further.)
- We won’t/shan’t be delivering orders from Monday to Saturday. (The order delivery will stop from Monday and will continue to stop till Saturday.)
- What will you be doing at night? (Asking about doing something at night that will start from the night and will continue further.)
- Who will be taking care of the patients when you leave? (Asking about the person who will start to take care of patients and will continue further.)
- They will be cheating in the exam since when the exam will start. (From the beginning to end, they are cheating. The progress of cheating stops for a while, but they continue it again.)
Advice – Never learn any language from a different language. You should learn English in English, not in your native language (mother-tongue). Just like you learned your mother tongue in your own mother tongue. By learning in this way makes your English accurate, fluent, and you learn it quickly.
